That simple utility and innovative idea are able to drive the NFT mainstream adoption. “Walls” attract everyone’s attention and become a great trigger to start a conversation and educate people. The goal is to give an NFT to everyone with a smartphone and to inspire people about this technology.
Ethereum Editions
The BTC Summer collection was launched on Ethereum as 1,000 open editions, created to bridge the emerging cultures of Bitcoin and Ethereum during the early days of ordinals. As NFTs expanded across chains, I brought ideas from my Bitcoin work into this release and offered the pieces as free editions that quickly sold out. Each artwork was designed as a collectible wallpaper people could keep on their phones, while also allowing holders to claim ownership and access collector roles in Discord.
Burn Redeem
After that, I introduced a burn and redeem mechanic through a separate contract, where collectors could exchange their BTC Summer piece for a new Bitcoin based artwork. This second collection explored AI aesthetics within the Bitcoin space and was limited to 31 editions in total. These pieces became a more exclusive tier, with holders receiving a distinct collector role in Discord.
