Meaning and Creation
Globe marks my first exploration of generative art with p5.js, allowing me to create pieces that are both dynamic and sustainable. By using code instead of traditional image files, I could inscribe the artwork directly on Bitcoin in a cost-effective way. The piece reflects the concept of eternity and global connection, symbolizing the ongoing adoption of blockchain technology and becoming a cornerstone of the NōME brand.

Why Bitcoin?
Each Globe edition is inscribed directly on the Bitcoin blockchain, making it true art on chain. There are no additional IPFS links or external storage—the code itself lives permanently on the blockchain. This ensures the work cannot be removed or altered, giving it lasting value and a permanent place in digital history as a collectible and foundational piece of Bitcoin art.
