The decline of nature’s raw resources increasingly encourages me to work with non-virgin materials. Seeing waste streams as a future starting point rather than an end point became the mission of this project. Common materials, such as denim, leather, paper, plastic, rubber, styrofoam and glass were found and collected from different sources.

Materials Search
Waste materials were recycled and treated with the same appreciation as raw materials. Through craftsmanship and experimentation original textures and structures became the base for new products.

Research & Analysis
This sustainable design is based on phycological factors that encourage humans to reduce waste by creating a subject-object relationship. Longer lasting products provide a perceptual attachment between the user and the product.
Collection Principles
• Environmental sustainability
• Recycling
• Energy efficiency
• Longer lasting products
• Unique objects - personal
• Emotional awareness
• Object essential meaning
• Tactile deep sense
Why cups?
Cups are a prime example of how a person can feel the object through sense: feel the material, the structure and texture. Furthermore, cup is a symbol of peoples’ connection and love that creates mood and emotional impact. With this Perception project I emphasize human’s individuality by crafting unique cups that become art themselves. One cup is for one person, so that one can feel attraction and gravity towards it.
Mint Gallery
The Perception Collection has been recognized through a series of international exhibitions and institutional presentations, reflecting its relevance within contemporary design discourse. It has been shown at SaloneSatellite in Milan and received the SaloneSatellite Moscow award, marking an early acknowledgment of its conceptual and material exploration. The work has also been presented across galleries and museums including A+D Museum in Los Angeles, Rinascente in Milan, Mater Gallery in Copenhagen, and Mint Gallery in London.
The images shown here document the exhibition at Mint Gallery in London, where the collection was placed in dialogue with a broader context of collectible design. Within this setting, the work emphasizes its core investigation of light, perception, and shifting spatial experience, inviting viewers to engage with the pieces as both objects and evolving visual phenomena.
